Start with the bonding system

Identify the panel, core, surface preparation and intended loading. A handbook typical value is meaningful only when its material configuration, test temperature and cure conditions are comparable to the project.

Confirm the cure cycle

Specify the available cure temperature, pressure, time, heat-up rate and equipment. For honeycomb structures, also state the core type and panel thickness so the applicable process can be reviewed.

Confirm storage and logistics early

Film adhesives can have different room-temperature and low-temperature storage windows. Provide the destination, transit plan and available cold storage before requesting a quotation.

Request the right documents

State the technical-document, test-method and quality-document requirements at the start. Final commercial terms, batch documentation and shipment conditions are confirmed for the selected grade and project.
